Owner, NSCA Personal Trainer, & Rehabilitation Body Mechanics Specialist, HYROX Trainer
Carolyn Collins brings over 25 years of expertise in fitness and wellness to Crossover Athletics. I’ve seem what works and doesn’t work. As the founder and owner, Carolyn combines her extensive background in, trainers of trainers, personal training, CrossFit, HYROX and body Mechanics to help clients pinpoint pain by strengthen their weak muscle and stretching their short tight muscles.
Carolyn excels in guiding clients through tailored fitness and rehabilitation programs, which includes full assessments and fat loss programs. Educating and training women only through pre menopause to post.
Her commitment to injury prevention, personalized coaching, and fostering a supportive community ensures that every member and client at Crossover Athletics can achieve their best self. Carolyn started her business in 2005, owns her building and is not going anywhere. Public speaking is my next venture to help women who struggle with getting older and all this to help them have a vibrant life.
Phaedra Banks
BCPRA Certified Personal Trainer/ CrossFit Level 1&2 Coach
Phaedra Banks is an accomplished Personal Trainer at Crossover Athletics, known for her dedication to helping clients reach their fitness goals. With a strong background in personal training, Phaedra excels at designing personalized workout programs that address individual needs and fitness levels. She takes great joy in seeing members achieve personal records (PRs) and encourages them to step outside their comfort zones to explore new challenges. Her approach combines motivation, education, and expert guidance to foster lasting results. Phaedra is passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to achieve their best.
Dr. Jasmine Kim (Dr. Jaz)
Naturopathic Doctor (ND)/ CrossFit Coach Level 1/ Kinesiologist
Dr. Jasmine Kim, known as Dr. Jaz, is a Naturopathic Doctor at Crossover Athletics, bringing a holistic approach to health and wellness. With a background in naturopathic medicine and extensive training in integrative health practices, Dr. Jaz specializes in personalized care that addresses the root causes of health issues. She is dedicated to helping clients achieve optimal well-being through natural therapies, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care. Dr. Jaz is passionate about empowering individuals to take control of their health and enhance their quality of life with evidence-based, natural solutions.

Lauren Venema
Personal Trainer/ CrossFit Level 1 Coach
Sheana Lehigh
Registered Physiotherapist, BScPT/ FCAMPT/ *CGIMS
Sheana is a skilled Physiotherapist at Crossover Athletics, with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia. Her extensive experience includes private practice, international work in New Zealand and the UK, and hospital settings. Specializing in chronic pain, orthopaedic, manual, and sports physiotherapy, Sheana holds IMS certification and a Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. Beyond her clinical work, Sheana is passionate about ballet, yoga, hiking, skiing, biking, and swimming. She also serves as a clinical placement instructor and mentor for physiotherapy students.

Andrew Tinkl
Coach
Since joining Crossover Athletics South Surrey (formerly CrossFit South Surrey) in 2017, Coach Andrew has been a dedicated member of our community. Andrew is currently earning his CrossFit Level 1 certification while continuing to practice and refine his coaching skills. His deep passion for fitness and his commitment to helping others shine through in every session.
Rachel Hendry
CrossFit Coach/ Kinesiologist/ Personal Trainer
Rachel Hendry is a dedicated CrossFit coach, kinesiologist, and personal trainer with a robust background that includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, nursing experience, and various fitness certifications. Passionate about Olympic lifting, she thrives on helping individuals of all ages achieve their fitness goals, whether it’s enhancing strength, improving overall health, or alleviating pain. Rachel finds deep fulfillment in witnessing her clients’ progress and commitment, inspired by their resilience in overcoming physical and emotional challenges. Her work is driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact on each client’s fitness journey.
Kimberley Marion
Kinesiologist, BSc
Kim is an experienced Kinesiologist with over 10 years in the field and a Bachelor of Science from SFU, along with a Certificate in Health and Fitness. She holds certifications in Soft Tissue Release, Parkinson’s Disease: FFM, and basic concussion management. Kim specializes in working with individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents, neurological disorders like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, recovery after hospital discharge, and athletic injuries. Her approach focuses on improving functional movement, reducing pain, and making exercise enjoyable. Known for her patience, positivity, and ability to adapt to each client’s needs, Kim brings energy and encouragement to every session. At Crossover, she teaches group classes focused on balance and mobility for people with Parkinson’s and other movement challenges.
Isaiah Jay
Kinesiologist, BSc
Isaiah Jay is a BCAK-certified Kinesiologist with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. He gained hands-on experience as a student athletic trainer for UBC varsity teams, specializing in injury assessment, preventative taping, and return-to-play support. Isaiah has worked with diverse populations, including youth with chronic conditions, senior athletes, and Special Olympic athletes, shaping his adaptable, client-focused approach. He is certified in First Aid, CPR, BLS, and concussion awareness, and is passionate about helping clients move with confidence through functional exercise and injury-prevention strategies.
